• Fal River Festival Gin Cruise Cocktails

    The Juniper Club were delighted to be part of the team organising the first #GinCruise in Falmouth as part of the Fal River Festival 2018, we teamed up with Fal River who organise the whole array of events for the festival which ran from 25th May to 3rd June 2018 and the amazing PotLuck Cornwall run by Taor Morris. 

    The Gin Cruise was originally just meant to run on Friday 1st June but due to overwhelming demand another was organised for Saturday 2nd June, so two Gin Cruises in 2 days for 120 Gin lovers on the River Fal....

    Friday night saw Wild Food Canapes on board foraged by the talented and creative Matt Vernon of Cornish WildFood, and Saturday's Gin Cruise had delicious Thai canapes from the ladies at Punk Thai.

    The Juniper Club is an online Gin superstore based in Cornwall and our love is excellent gin, so being in Cornwall and a Cornish Company we took the chance to create 5 delicious Cornish Gin Cocktails for guests to choose from during the evening. 

    A tiny bar on a moving boat presented a fun challenge to get over 200 top notch G&T Cocktails served in just under 2 hours, but all went well!

    Our featured Gin Cruise cocktails were....

    Tarquin's Brilliant Blackberry & Wild Honey Gin served with Fever Tree Sicillian Tonic, garnished with fresh mint and a dried strawberry (dried berries in a Gin cocktail - these freeze dried strawberries rehydrate as you drink and at the end you have a delicious gin soaked berry!)

    Caspyn Cornish Dry Gin served with fever Tree Indian Tonic, Dried Orange slice and a sprinkling of Juniper Berries - the combination of dried orange as the citrus element and the Juniper Berries (the essence of Gin) is amazing and works well with a host of Craft Gin options. 

    St. Ives Gin served with Mediterranean Tonic granished with fresh grapefruit and basil - a delicious summer flavoured cocktail with fresh citrus. 

    Trevethan Cornish Gin served with Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic and garnished with fresh range and rosemary - a delicious sensory cocktail with the citrus and rosemary aroma working it's magic even before you have tasted it!


    Westward Farm Rose Geranium Gin served with Fever Tree Indian Tonic, garnished with Dried Raspberries and a fragrant rose bud.
