The new Winter Foraged Gin from Skylark distillery, it is foraged for flavour, with each small batch given its distinctive taste by wild herbs and native botanicals bound by the seasons and cycles of Cornwall.
The winter edition embraces autumnal treasures of wild fruits and berries foraged from Cornish hedgerows and orchards. Kea Plums, Crab Apples, Pears, Rosehips, Rowan Berries, Blackberries, Heather and Apple Mint are delicately distilled along with eleven more traditional botanicals, and this time aged in French oak casks for a warm, sweet finish. The result is well balanced gin with a wintery character thanks to its fruity and slightly spicy notes, accompanied by a light oaky aroma - perfect for cold-weather sipping.
Best enjoyed with ginger ale to enhance the warming spices or a floral tonic to highlight the berries.
