This limited-edition gin is the second of the Salcombe Gin Voyager Series, a collection of limited-edition gins, each developed in collaboration with a world renowned chef or iconic winemaker, to reflect their individual personality and style.
Named ‘Mischief’ after one of the famous Salcombe Fruit Schooners, this limited-edition gin has been developed in collaboration with celebrated chef, restaurateur and food writer Mark Hix MBE.
Limited to 1,200 bottles, ‘Mischief’ is presented in a stunning white ceramic bottle featuring an embossed outline of the iconic gin pennant and a bespoke debossed copper stopper commissioned for the series. Its presentation box has beautiful copper detailing and contains a recipe card for the ‘Scallywag’ cocktail created by Mark and his team at Hix Restaurants.
Tasting Notes:
‘Mischief’ has a strong backbone of traditional juniper and warming citrus from sweet orange peel classically paired with bay leaf and cardamom. On the palate it is rich with a subtle anise note from the foraged fennel flowers balanced with a slightly saline note from samphire.
Best served over ice with a premium tonic water and garnished simply with a twist of orange peel.
